On October 17, 2008, the NEOPA Fall Workshop was held in Wayne, Nebraska, at the Wayne State College campus. WEOPA was the host for the workshop. |
| Jason Karsky was the morning speaker and spoke to the group about crisis and emergency management basics, incident management roles and types of emergencies in academic settings. Jason also walked the group through some emergency management scenariors and did some reenactments. |

During the lunch, a business meeting and award presentations were given. Here you see Joyce Trevett, CEOE, NEOPA's Awards Director and a member of WEOPA with Donlynn Rice, Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Innovation at the Nebraska Department of Education. Donlynn was the recipient of NEOPA's Educational Administrator of the Year for 2008-2009. |
| In the afternoon, the Workshop's first speaker was Mark McCorkindale. Mark talked to the group about stress and the working woman. |

Connie Hassler was the Workshop's second afternoon speaker and she talked to the group about stress relief through massage, yoga and breathing techniques. |
| The Fall Workshop also gave the opportunity for all the Past Presidents of NEOPA to get together. |
